Cold Rolled
When thinner sheets are required or if a better surface is needed than what is produced by hot rolling, cold rolling must be used. The process starts with a hot rolled compound and starts when the material is not heated, hence the name cold rolled. After cold rolling the material is annealed. Cold rolled material can be controlled so that it is either easily molded – soft or very firm – hard. We usually sell cold rolled from 0.5 – 3.0 mm but it is possible to order both thinner and thicker.
