Hot Dip Galvanized

Hot and cold rolled materials can be coated with different kinds of surface treatments to increase protection from rust.
Hot dipped galvanizing is the most common and gives good protection. The material is annealed and cooled to approximately 470°, before it is passed through a zinc bath with a temperature of 465°. Thereafter, the material is cooled before it is rolled lightly and acquires the final characteristics. Galvanized is sold from 0.4 – 4.0 mm with different zinc thicknesses and surfaces.
